Adams is the first to hold this new position at MedShift, previously it was handled by an outside firm, but as the company continues to expand, MedShift saw an opportunity to bring this position in-house, and Adams was an excellent choice. As the Vice President of Finance, Adams will be responsible for leading the MedShift financial team, as well as structuring new programs to further grow MedShift's innovative, international business model.
With over 12 years of professional accounting and financial experience, Adams honed his experience in corporate income tax and later made the change to finance operations to achieve his desire to work closely with business operations and finance advising.

Adams doubled majored at Elon, receiving his B.S. in Accounting and a second major in Economics. He began his professional career with Cherry Bekaert LLP, as a Tax Associate. He has spent the last four years as a corporate controller overseeing all finance functions, as well as HR, focusing on industrial supplies and automotive industries within the retail/wholesale sector. Adams and his wife reside in Indian Land, South Carolina and have recently welcomed their first son into the world.
